AAO [Anime Edition] (CD Only)

The world constantly creates limits and tests us with countless challenges. At times, we may even face moments that feel like an unavoidable fate. But nothing can stop us from moving forward.

JO1’s 11th single, AAO, brings together the powerful spirit of “Against All Odds” with the Japanese rallying cry “Ei Ei Oh!” to create a new anthem for JO1, calling on everyone to raise their voices together and break through every obstacle.

The title track, “IGNITE,” serves as the opening theme for the anime Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans Arc. With its powerful band sound and driving momentum, the song captures JO1’s energy as they push forward without giving in to adversity.

Built on a Brazilian funk-inspired hip-hop track, “MATCHA” combines heavy 808 bass with punchy programmed rhythms, expressing JO1’s distinctive personality and confidence with a playful sense of wit.

“There Can Be Nothing Better” blends modern pop and R&B with an emotive melody and polished sound, warmly portraying the happiness of spending time together and the anticipation of all the moments still to come.

The fan song “PEKO PEKO” expresses the bond between JO1 and their fans through a refreshing sound, smooth groove, delicate vocals, and rich harmonies, conveying their heartfelt appreciation and desire to “be together.”

Through its diverse range of sounds, AAO captures the many sides of JO1’s energy today, from the strength to face adversity to the happiness found in moments shared together. No matter what comes their way, they will ignite once again, raise their voices even louder, and keep moving forward until the very end.

Say it loud, “Ei Ei Oh!”
